Dark Days

'Dark Days' demonstrates the difficulty to live for those who are homeless. However, I'm a strong believer of if you want something, get up and get it yourself, and if you want something done right, you must do it yourself. We are all individuals and need to learn how to be independent and not depend on everyone to survive. Life is hard, but if you expect for everything to be done for you, how will it get easier through the years. 'Dark Days' presents interviews with the homeless and many of them admit to have been addicted to crack, now is it the governments fault for these beings to have gotten addicted. Addiction breaks out because of the individual, it is not forced but acquired. Everyone has the capability to say "no", however, these homeless individuals made their own decision, not the correct one. I must disagree with the claim that for one to succeed, they must have motivation, someone to push them. Everyone must learn to have a strong will, that if you want to succeed in the long run, you must make the steps, not be carried by "mommy" or "daddy". It's a matter of self-confidence and growing up. Be a go-getter.
